Philosophy of Athletics at LLS
At LLS, we view athletics as an essential component of our holistic educational philosophy. Our athletic program aims to glorify God by nurturing the physical talents and abilities He has bestowed upon our students. We believe that participation in sports provides a unique opportunity to develop virtue, fostering qualities such as discipline, teamwork, resilience, and emotional control. Through both competition and camaraderie, our athletic program seeks to unite the entire school community, cultivate school spirit, and instill values of humility and sportsmanship. We encourage our athletes to strive for excellence while maintaining integrity, whether they are on the field, court, or in the stands as enthusiastic supporters.
